Fissco Supply is seeking a reliable Seasonal Warehouse team member for the Tyler, Texas location. The Seasonal Warehouse role is a temporary role for our stores during peak times. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods within the warehouse. You will play a key role in maintaining the flow of products, supporting supply chain operations, and contributing to the overall customer satisfaction. Our goal is to support the growth and success of our customers' businesses through exceptional service and product availability.ResponsibilitiesProcess and receive incoming products from branch transfers to fulfill specific customer orders or replenish stockAbility to pick and stage will-call orders to achieve customer's expectationsAccurately picks, prepares, and processes outgoing shipping orders accurately to meet shipping cutoff timesProcess and handle customer returns in accordance with company guidelines, ensuring original documentation is accurately referencedAbility to document and file freight claims when necessaryPrepares all hazmat orders in accordance with all DOT and company requirementsReplenish and maintain showroom inventoryMaintain inventory for shipping supplies, postage, and packaging materialsEnsure the Branch is kept clean including floors, common areas, and bathroomsAbility to support warehouse housekeeping such as bin maintenance, fronting, overstock, dust control, maximizing cube space, and keeping the aisles clearSupport customer service by assisting customers with pick up and loading ordersSupport will-call service as needed to maintain a high level of customer serviceActively participates in all assigned regulatory, product, selling, etc. trainingAbility to provide backup support at the service counter during peak service timesAbility to safely operate a forklift or other machinery in order to complete daily tasksPerform other duties as assigned by managementQualificationsMust be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalentWillingness to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environmentMinimum of 1 year of warehouse or material handling experience preferredAbility to safely operate powered industrial equipment, such as a forklift and pallet jacksStrong communication skills and experience working in a team environmentAbility to apply basic knowledge of inventory management and warehouse safety proceduresAbility to follow verbal and written instructions effectively with minimal supervisionPhysical ability to lift and move heavy items, often up to 50 poundsWhy Work for Fissco Supply?Competitive compensationCompany paid insurance (medical/dental/vision/life)401(k) with 50% company matchFissco Supply is an equal opportunity employer#J-18808-Ljbffr
