Production Data & Inventory ClerkSNELLING is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Production Data & Inventory Clerk for a seasonal position with a local company. This position is expected to begin in late October, with interviews taking place prior to the start date.This Production Data & Inventory Clerk position will be Temporary, meaning that SNELLING would work with you through the consideration and interview process and SNELLING would be your employer for the time of the project. Pay will be $16-$17.50/hr.Although this role includes data entry, much of the work will take place on the production floor, counting products and ensuring everything moving through the line is accurately accounted for.Job ResponsibilitiesCount products and materials moving through the production lineAccurately record and enter production informationVerify quantities and identify missing items or discrepanciesWatch for anything incorrect or out of the ordinaryCommunicate counting or inventory concerns to the appropriate team memberAssist with cleaning and keeping work areas organizedSupport production and warehouse activities as neededMove between responsibilities based on daily production needsFollow instructions, procedures, and workplace safety guidelinesStep in to help the team without needing to be promptedQualificationsStrong attention to detail and accuracyBasic math and counting skillsComfortable using a computer and 10-key number entryAbility to follow verbal and written instructionsGood judgment and common senseDependable, hardworking, and punctualPositive attitude and team-oriented mindsetWillingness to perform a variety of dutiesAbility to recognize errors, discrepancies, or unusual activityPrevious data-entry, inventory, warehouse, or production experience is helpful but not requiredPhysical and Work Environment RequirementsMust be able to stand and work on your feet for most of the shiftMust be comfortable working in a warehouse environmentWarehouse temperatures may be hot or cold depending on the seasonMust be able to work around an active production lineSome cleaning and general production support will be requiredScheduleMonday-Thursday: 7:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.Friday: 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.Saturdays as required based on production needs: 7:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.Candidates must be flexible and available to work required Saturdays when needed.Assignment LengthThis is a temporary seasonal position beginning in late October, with the busiest period typically running from November through January. Staffing needs and schedules may decrease after January, but opportunities may be available for dependable employees to continue working through June.
