Recreation Center Front Desk Assistant

The Recreation Center Front Desk Assistant serves as the first point of contact for students, faculty, continuing studies participants, and visitors. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining an organized and welcoming environment, supporting daily facility operations, and assisting patrons with facility information and services. This is a part-time position and can work up to 18 hours per week.

What You Will Do
  • Greet students, faculty and patrons to make them feel welcome in our facility.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of supplies in designated work area.
  • Check in students, faculty and continuing studies students entering the facility.
  • Answer main phone line for facility.
  • Provide information regarding facility, continuing studies classes and other offerings.
  • Be familiar with all aspects of facility operations.
  • Be on time for each assigned shift.
  • If unable to work an assigned shift, find a substitute for assigned shift.
  • Make effective use of work time.
  • Complete all tasks assigned in an accurate, prompt and thorough manner.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Director, Apache Recreation Center, Manager, and Rec Sports Coordinator

Qualifications

Required Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
