Job Description Job Description Job description:APPPLY IN PERSON!!Job Summary: This position will require generator troubleshooting, service and repairs on stand-by generators. This includes the ability to remove alternators from the engines or disassemble alternators that are already removed from engines and diagnose electrical failures, from 100 KW to 4000 KW.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform repairs and services on all makes and models of generator sets.Inspections, repairs, services on equipment.Troubleshooting equipment and servicing generator components including alternators, wiring harnesses, safety devices, shutdown switches, and battery systems.Identify the problem and cause of failure through logical troubleshooting steps, determine corrective action through inspection of failed parts.Communicate all information to customers in an accurate, factual manner.Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.Ensure work scope has been performed and unit is operational before reassembly.Write clear and concise inspection and final reports.Must have the ability to operate in a constant state of alertness, and safe manner.Must be able to be on-call for for weekend work.Job Types: Full-time, InternshipBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceAbility to Commute:Jacksonville, FL 32226 (Required)Ability to Relocate:Jacksonville, FL 32226: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)Work Location: In person
