Job Description Job Description Peltier Subaru is looking for a dependable, experienced Used Car Technician to join our service team. This position is focused on inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing pre-owned vehicles so they are safe, reliable, and ready for sale.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and comfortable working on multiple makes and models. Subaru experience is a plus, but not required.ResponsibilitiesPerform used vehicle inspections and safety checksDiagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, brake, suspension, and HVAC concernsComplete repairs needed for used car reconditioningPerform maintenance services including oil changes, filters, fluids, brakes, tires, batteries, alignments, and tune-upsIdentify needed repairs clearly and accuratelyCommunicate findings to service advisors, used car managers, and dispatchDocument all work performed on repair ordersMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaFollow dealership and manufacturer repair proceduresHelp ensure vehicles are frontline-ready in a timely mannerQualificationsPrevious automotive technician experience preferredAbility to diagnose and repair multiple vehicle brandsStrong attention to detail and quality workmanshipValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordMust have own toolsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamASE certifications are a plusSubaru or dealership experience is a plusWhat We OfferCompetitive pay based on experienceSteady workflowFull-time scheduleSupportive service team and managementOpportunities for training and advancementDealership environment with room to growIdeal CandidateYou are a technician who takes pride in doing the job right the first time.
