Job Description Job Description Salary: 50,000Position OverviewAs we are preparing for expansion, we are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to provide analysis of various engineering data provided by REI Utility Services field staff, customers, and/or third-party contractors (e.g. TxDOT, etc). This role is responsible for processing of engineering data through various software and established engineering procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesCommunication with various data providers and customersAnalyze provided data for validity for the requested outputRequest additional data as required to complete the most accurate resultsProcess data as per the requested outputProvide quality assurance review of output of analysis to assure accuracyCommunication with leadership when results are not as expectedProvide process improvement recommendations as deemed appropriate.QualificationsRequired:High School Diploma1 year of Electric utility design experienceExperience in engineering software such as PLS-CADD, Neara, ESRI, Trimble, GIS, and other relevant applicationsKnowledge of RUS design standards and materialsFamiliarity of industry standards, including NESC, IEEE, and ANSIExcellent communication and leadership skills.
