This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a fast‑paced environment where you will handle complex litigation matters, manage case files, and represent clients in court. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in litigation, with a focus on hearing and trial preparation.ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in court and before government agencies.Select jurors, argue motions, meet with judges, and question witnesses during the course of a trial.Study and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.Present and summarize cases to judges and juries.Prepare legal briefs and opinions, and file appeals in state and federal courts of appeal.Analyze the probable outcomes of cases, using knowledge of legal precedents.Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.Gather evidence to formulate defense or to initiate legal actions, by such means as interviewing clients and witnesses to ascertain the facts of a case.Negotiate settlements of civil disputes.Supervise legal assistants and junior attorneys, and manage relationships with clients.QualificationsA Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.A license to practice law in the state of TX.A minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, with a strong understanding of hearing and trial preparation.Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, judges, and juries.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues.Experience in managing multiple cases and the ability to work under pressure.Proficiency in legal research and writing.A high degree of professional ethics and integrity.Excellent negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.This is a unique chance to join a supportive team that values your skills and expertise.
