To maintain warehouse inventory in an orderly manner so that the instructional program is properly supported for the summer.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

• Makes deliveries of materials,
• Maintains inventory of supplies and stock requests.
• Keeps the warehouse clean and neat.
• Loads and unloads merchandise.
• Checks, accepts, or refuses shipments made to school district.
• Responsible for care and maintenance of school vehicle(s) and warehouse equipment.
• Performs general maintenance, clean-up, custodial, security, and related tasks in case of a facility emergency.
• Performs other duties as the Superintendent may assign.

Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals

Posture: Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting

Motion: Continual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching; heavy lifting and carrying.

Physical Demands: Continual standing, walking, pushing, and pulling; frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, and climbing (ladder), lifting (up to 70 lbs.), and carrying. Moderate exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures.

Environment: May work prolonged or irregular hours; frequent districtwide travel; occasional statewide travel and out-of-state travel. Work outside and inside; work around machinery with moving parts; exposure to dampness and humidity and slippery or uneven walking surfaces

Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under stress.
