A company is looking for an Atmospheric Scientist, Calibration Validation Specialist to support government clients in the analysis of microwave remote sensing systems.Key ResponsibilitiesEngage in research supporting space-based microwave remote sensing missionsAnalyze microwave remote sensing systems and pre-flight specificationsConduct calibration and validation of space-based microwave radiometric dataRequired Qualifications and EducationMaster's or PhD in Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Electrical Engineering, or related field required; B.S. with extensive Cal/Val experience may be consideredCalVal experience with space-based microwave radiometric data is essentialFluency in two or more programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or MATLABExperience programming in a Linux/Unix environment and Linux shell scriptingCurrent Secret clearance or higher is a plus
