A company is looking for a Design Engineer II - Optical responsible for designing and implementing capacity on the DWDM network.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign planning and capacity fulfillment for U.S. and Canadian networksCollaborate with Project Managers to deliver service requirements and provide updates on project progressReview capacity requests and maintain customer commitments in the databaseRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experienceMinimum of three years of Telecommunications and/or data networking experienceWorking knowledge of optical systems and signal flow designs using ROADM technologyFamiliarity with optical systems including Fuji, Adva, Ciena, Cisco, Infinera, and NokiaExperience with project management software and Microsoft Office or Google programs
