Job Details

This position is primarily responsible for the unloading of milk from tanker trucks, washing and sanitizing tankers trucks, silos and receiving lines, and to aid in the manufacturing of all company products in a safe and sanitary work environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all pumps, piping and other items necessary for the actual unloading of product.
• Sanitizes all unloading equipment prior to its use.
• Checks all incoming tanker loads for order, temperature, taste and any other factors in accordance with the Quality Assurance Program.
• Responsible for the actual flow of all incoming products to its proper holding silos.
• Responsible for the procurement of all necessary samples, in accordance with the Quality Assurance Program, and state or federal regulatory agencies, prior to the actual unloading of the product.
• Responsible for the washing of all pumps, piping and equipment used while performing the unloading or loading process during the shift and maintaining the entire receiving area in a clean and orderly manner while in compliance with quality assurance policies.

Qualifications

• One-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to obtain within 30 days of hire State Lab Sample Testing Certification and Sample Pulling Certification.
• Ability to read and interpret receiving documents

Must keep work area safe and clean and work in a safe and efficient manner. Must be able to follow both written and verbal instructions, perform basic mathematics, and fill out written daily reports.
