About Team Hope Walk: The Team Hope Walk program is HDSA's signature grassroots fundraising campaign designed to provide hope and support for those touched by this devastating disease. All proceeds support HDSA's mission to improve the lives of people affected by HD and theirfamilies. Since their inception in 2007, Team Hope Walks have occurred in over 100 different cities and have raised more than $26 million for the cause.
Role Purpose: Provide a warm welcome and efficient check-in experience for walkers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct participants through the check-in process.
- Assist with online registration confirmation or walk-up forms.
- Collect and document donations utilizing the Square Reader forms.
- Distribute earned participant t-shirts.
Skills Needed: Customer service, comfort with iPads/technology, Square readers, and enthusiasm for encouraging participant fundraising.
