Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical Services

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: Days, 06:30 - 15:00, Monday - Friday with call required (1-2 shifts every 6 weeks).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Orthopedics, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery, and Urology. Knowledge and experience with Davinci Robots and endovascular procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in the surgical setting.
• Assist in performing a variety of surgical procedures.
• Ensure accurate documentation and patient charting using Epic.
• Respond to emergency situations as necessary.
• Support patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Surgical Nursing.
• Experience in Ortho, General, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology preferred.
• Required certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Travel experience is preferred.
