SNELLING is currently recruiting for an Automated (Overlay) Welder for a company in the East Texas area with a starting pay of $23 HR (this includes a shift differential). This is a second shift position, 1:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Must be willing to work overtime on the scheduled work days and occasionally Fridays as needed.

This position will be a direct hire, meaning that SNELLING would work with you through the consideration and interview process and if an offer is extended, employment would begin on the client employer's payroll as their employee.

Qualifications of the Automated (Overlay) Welder will include:

• 3 plus years of experience with heavy industrial production experience
• Ability to read mechanical drawings & weld symbols
• Ability to determine weld application material & tolerance adherence
• Experience with weld overlay applications
• Knowledge of welding theory & experience with machine welding
• Ability to use hand tools such as wrenches and sledgehammers to physically maneuver equipment in preparation for the rebuilding process
• Ability to use handheld measuring tools such as dial indicators & micrometers
• Ability to operate and maneuver lifting equipment such as overhead cranes & fork-lift experience necessary
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
