36 beds Patient ratio 1:6 Float required to units of equal or lesser acuity ears of experience REQ: 2 Years minimum First-timers accepted: N, previous travel required Weekend REQ: Every other weekend Certs REQ: BLS | Preferred: NIH 5 North consists of 36 private rooms and serves a patient population with ages that range from the young adult through the geriatric patient. Priority admission is given to patients requiring a medical level of cardiac care and recovering from a cardiac intervention. These interventions include, but are not limited to, cardiac surgery, coronary artery stent placement, and pacemaker implant. 5 North also admits hemodynamically stable non-procedural cardiac patients. Locals accepted: (Y/N) What is the local radius rule?: No local - We do not contract staff residing in the following counties : Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris.
