Your Day at Lowe's

As a Customer Service Associate, you will welcome customers, assist them in finding the right products and services for their home improvement needs, and ensure their shopping experience is seamless. Your daily tasks will include listening to customers, answering questions, assisting in merchandise handling, and maintaining organized product displays.

Your responsibilities will vary depending on the department you work in, which may include Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and provide friendly and professional service.
  • Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise.
  • Restock shelves to maintain inventory levels.
  • Accurately process orders and deliveries.
  • Cross-train in other store areas to enhance customer service.
  • Prepare merchandise according to customer needs, such as mixing paint or cutting lumber.
  • Guide customers through their shopping or checkout experience.
  • Complete other assigned duties as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6 months of experience using a computer for data input and retrieval.
  • 6 months of experience with retail technology, including smartphones and tablets.
  • Basic skills in reading, writing, and arithmetic.
  • Ability to perform various physical tasks, including standing for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting 25 lbs. unassisted or more with appropriate assistance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 months of experience in retail and/or customer service.
  • Fluency in a second language is a plus.
  • Certification in a trade related to your department (e.g., plumbing or electrical).
