Description
Summary: Keeps office/store in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Ø Cleaning of assigned areas (public areas, restrooms, offices, classrooms, conference/meeting rooms, sidewalks/parking lots, etc.
Ø Empties trash and garbage containers.
Ø Cleans restrooms.
Ø Cleans trash and debris from sidewalk/parking lot
Ø Removing trash, replenishing supplies, taking care of floors and carpet, dusting, cleaning windows, etc.
Ø Notifies management concerning need for repairs or maintenance.
Ø Other duties may be assigned.

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Other Skills and Abilities
Bilingual skills a plus.

Work Environment • Regular exposure to warehouse conditions and moving mechanical parts. Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have knowledge of proprietary software as needed.
