Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Student Support and Special Education, the Education Specialist will provide special education students with learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Develop or modify curricula and prepare lessons and other instructional materials to student ability levels. The educational specialist will work collaboratively among IEP teams to develop, implement, and monitor student progress toward IEP goals and ensure legal IEP compliance.
