We are expanding our Los Angeles office and seeking an Associate Attorney who is ready for the next chapter of their litigation career. This role is designed for an accomplished trial lawyer who wants challenging cases, real responsibility, and the opportunity to grow within a firm that values excellence, strategy, and purpose in equal measure.

This is a hybrid position, with 2-3 days per week in our Los Angeles office, depending on trial schedules.

Responsibilities

This Role Is Built for a Trial Lawyer

This is not a volume practice and not a support role. You will be trusted with complex matters, meaningful courtroom work, and strategic decision-making.

What You Will Do:
• Lead complex civil litigation matters from initial investigation through trial and verdict
• Develop and execute a case strategy in high-stakes matters involving extensive discovery and expert testimony
• Take and defend depositions of fact witnesses, corporate representatives, and experts.
• Prepare and argue dispositive motions, evidentiary motions, and post-trial motions
• Prepare witnesses and experts for testimony and trial presentation
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing clear assessments and strategic guidance throughout litigation
• Collaborate with experienced trial lawyers and a skilled litigation support team
• Travel as needed for depositions, hearings, and trials, both in California and nationwide

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. 5+ years of litigation and trial experience
• Active and good-standing membership with the California State Bar
• Significant experience handling depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• Ability to manage complex litigation with sound judgment and professionalism
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to high-quality work
