Location: Raleigh-Durham, NC (Hybrid) or Remote - U.S. based

Travel Required: Periodic travel to Raleigh + regular travel to Pune, India

Are you a seasoned SaaS revenue leader who knows that retention is just as critical as acquisition? One of Blackmere's clients is searching for a Vice Presidentof Existing Business Sales to lead one of the most consequential revenue engines in their organization: $1B+ in renewals, a high-performing global team of 260, and direct influence over the company's long-term revenue outlook.

This is a rare opportunity to take a mature, mission-critical business to its next stage of evolution. You'll inherit a strong foundation-new compensation models, realigned account structures, and expanded global operations-and be responsible for delivering predictable renewals, disciplined expansion, and an elevated customer experience across U.S. and India operations.

This leadership transition comes at a time when the structural groundwork is complete. Now, the company needs a visionary operator - someone who can drive accountability at scale, strengthen cross-functional partnerships, and improve both Gross Retention Rate (GRR) and Net Revenue Retention (NRR) quarter after quarter.

You'll lead a globally distributed team of account managers, expansion sellers, renewal analysts, and enablement professionals - and work closely with stakeholders across Customer Operations, RevOps, Finance, Product, and Marketing. Your mission: create a high-functioning, AI-forward renewal engine that delivers consistent performance and puts customer value at the center of every conversation.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Operational Leadership of a 260-person team across the U.S. and Pune, India
  • Drive renewal and expansion performance across an $1B+ book of business
  • Instill forecast accuracy, workflow discipline, and operational clarity
  • Build a unified renewal operating rhythm across global teams
  • Strengthen cross-functional execution with key partners across Customer Experience, Product, and Sales Ops
  • Guide the adoption of AI-enabled tools for renewal risk scoring, predictive analytics, and workflow automation
  • Champion customer-first behaviors-transparent pricing, early engagement, and simplified communication
  • Serve as a trusted proxy to executive leadership, ensuring insights, risks, and opportunities are surfaced early and acted on swiftly

What You Bring

Must-Haves
  • 15+ years of SaaS revenue leadership, including renewals, account management, and existing customer sales
  • Proven track record leading a 100+ person sales organization
  • Demonstrated success in driving forecasting accuracy, operational discipline, and expansion performance
  • Experience managing global teams, including U.S. and India-based operations
  • High data fluency and experience leveraging predictive analytics for customer retention
  • Executive presence with strong influencing skills across Product, Support, Finance, and Marketing
  • Ability to lead through change and structure in a fast-evolving SaaS environment
Preferred
  • Experience balancing expansion and retention across a high-volume SaaS renewal motion
  • Background in PE-backed or operationally rigorous growth companies
  • Familiarity with AI-driven sales enablement tools (deal coaching, risk modeling, etc.)
  • Experience simplifying and scaling renewal operations infrastructure
