Mission Statement

The mission of the Area Director is to provide leadership and supervision for the regional MAAS program.

Key Result Areas

1. Manage Program: Contributes to the overall culture and success of MA and its programs through a healthy attitude, work ethic, relationship building, and adherence to MA team values to accomplish program goals.

2. Recruit, Lead, and Manage Staff: Ensure all site(s) staff positions are filled and provide leadership and management to staff at all assigned sites.

3. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all safety and compliance measures are implemented and followed at assigned site(s).

4. Partnership & Community Engagement: Build working relationships with school leadership or other appropriate community partners to ensure the program's success at assigned site(s).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 6 college credit hours in management required
  • Proven collaboration skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a licensed child-care setting (such as teaching or skills-based instruction in a youth program)
