Get to Know Your Team:

Responsibilities

• The Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist assists the Cardiologist with radiology procedures performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• This includes both Cardiovascular studies/interventions as well as Special Procedure studies/interventions.
• The patient population contains adults, and geriatric patients. Ionizing Radiation is utilized to perform these studies as well as other imaging modalities.
• On-Call is required, and the employee must be able to respond and arrive in the Cath Lab within 30 minutes.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an American Medical association approved radiology program.
• Must be ARRT registered.
• Must be licensed by the State of Texas.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• One year special procedures or cardiac catheterization laboratory experience.
