UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 502 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
Responsibilities
The EKG Technician is responsible for obtaining high quality EKG's and ancillary duties with compassion and respect towards their patients, co-workers, physicians and visitors.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of GE EKG carts.
Knowledge of MUSE EKG management system.
Knowledge of basic EKG rhythms and life-threatening arrhythmias.
Preferred Job Requirements:
Previous experience in a hospital setting.
Previous EKG experience.
Certification through CCI.
