Work Location: Tyler, Texas

Hours: 1st Shift

Employment Status: Full Time/Benefit Eligible

Your Role Involves:

• Delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.
• Performing venipuncture on patients of all ages, ensuring a compassionate approach.
• Collecting and preparing non-blood specimens accurately.
• Managing specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering with attention to detail.
• Prioritizing safety, compliance, and quality control in all procedures.

Requirements:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior training or experience in phlebotomy.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Basic computer and data entry capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, focusing on specimen collection and processing.
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians.

As a phlebotomist, you will have routine access to Protected Health Information (PHI) and will be trained to maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy standards.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Work Shift: Monday-Friday 8-5 or as required until patient care is complete, with Saturday rotation required. Pediatric experience is essential.
