Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Places salvage textiles into the bailer.

Loads the bailer in a series of compression cycles until the bailer is full up to the black line on the front of the bailer. Safety screen must be closed before pressing the start button on each compression cycle. Bailer must stand clear of door when open.

Straps the full bail utilizing the green plastic strapping and bailing gun.

Removes finished bail from machine using the electric pallet jack or, if licensed, the propane gas operated fork lift.

If licensed, operates forklift to move, stack and store materials.

Completes any and all tasks as assigned.

Follows safety guidelines and wear PPE, when applicable.
