What will you be doing?

We are looking for a Installation Methods Senior Engineer to join our Department of Installation & Project Engineering within the 'Global Project Center'. You will be responsible for the installation of subsea structures, mooring systems, riser systems, flexible flowlines, and/or umbilicals. Your role includes preparing the scope and supporting the offshore crew during operations, ensuring effective interface management with clients, suppliers, offshore teams, and the design department.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Supervising a team of engineers and managing a package of work.
• Overseeing all external interfaces (clients, suppliers) and internal ones (other disciplines, installation, manufacturing, procurement).
• Preparing documents and preliminary studies related to tenders, FEEDs, and projects developed by the Group.
• Autonomously supervising engineering activities related to the preparation and offshore installation of the products.
• Planning, preparing, and confirming specific procedures (validation tests on-site, transportation, and installation) and associated calculation notes (e.g., design of lifting slings), defining priorities.
• Participating in vessel mobilization and installation phases to validate technical solutions while respecting Group HSEQ rules.
• Ensuring activities are conducted in compliance with project standards regarding Quality, Cost, and Time.
• Serving as the technical owner for contractor selection and supervising subcontracted studies.
• Validating concepts and plan changes considering HSEQ criteria.
• Validating developments and proposing improvements aligned with HSEQ standards.
• Contributing to team development and expertise consolidation within the installation team.
• Offering innovative solutions to reduce costs.

What experience would we like you to have?

You should demonstrate knowledge, skills, experience, and behaviors in the following areas:

• Holding a Master of Engineering degree with relevant experience in the energy sector.
• Experience in Subsea Structures Installation and/or Flexible Flowlines/Umbilicals.
• Desirable experience in Mooring Installation.
• Experience in Offshore Operations.
• Strong autonomy, coordination, and communication skills.
• Experience leading teams.
• Fluent English skills.
